Methodological and organizational aspects of the development and performance of quests within the framework of excursions

The article considers the format of the quest as an innovative direction of excursion activity. The authors have studied the concept, essence and forms of quest excursions. Purpose: based on the theoretical study of methodological approaches to the development and conduct of quests and excursions, to develop an
author's algorithm for the formation and implementation of quest excursions. Methods: methods of system analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction, identification of cause-and-effect relationships, comparative descriptive method are used. Results: in the course of the study, an analysis of the organizational aspects of the development of quest excursions was carried out based on a comparison of the methods of developing excursions and quests separately, an author's algorithm for the formation and implementation of quest excursions was developed. The scientific significance lies in the development of the author's definition of the concept of "quest-excursion" and the allocation of its classification. The practical result is the proposed algorithm for conducting and implementing a quest tour, which can be used in various ways.
